to support Human Rights Observer staff to record & challenge police malpractice of displaced persons

At the moment, acts of police violence are a daily occurrence along the French-UK border, and evictions of informal living sites take place every 48 hours in Calais and once a week in Dunkerque (on average). HRO work involves being present as much as possible during police checks and operations, such as evictions, in order to document and denounce any kind of State and/or police violence. The evictions are most often illegal or do not comply with standards set by French law, so the images and data collected while on the ground are also used as evidence by jurists and the lawyers they work alongside.
